Hans Besseling took up his position as the new director of the sheet metal processing company WBM. He succeeds Hermen Bos, who managed the company for more than 8.5 years.
During these 8.5 years, WBM experienced stable growth under Hermen’s leadership with strong improvements in several areas. However, the company also experienced turbulent times during this period. For example, Hermen led WBM through the unpredictable corona period and the high steel prices in the aftermath were a major challenge for the company. Now that WBM seems to be moving in calmer waters, the time has come for Hermen to take on new challenges. “WBM is a wonderful company with a great future and Hans is the right person to take it forward!”
Experience in mechanical engineering
Hans is no stranger to the steel world. For 20 years he was director at Kersten Group BV, a leading company for bent parts and structures made of steel and aluminum. He is originally a mechanical engineer, but quickly switched to the commercial sector. “It is an honor for me to succeed Hermen. It’s a great new challenge and I look forward to working with the dedicated professionals at WBM to help shape the continued growth of this wonderful manufacturing company.”
Welcome to WBM Hans!
